Can you believe Vizio's ridiculous claims?

They claimed that they are the number one HDTV maker
and almost put Sony, Samsung, LG , Panasonic and Sharp
out of business. Also they supposedly say There HDTV won
best HDTV of 2010 with their 240hz LED model at some
some unknown convention called rock your walls. But was
Vizio even mentioned at CES? because I remember CES
giving Panasonic VT25 the best HDTV of 2010, isn't
CES more reliable? or is this some big joke? I only see
Vizio's at cheap refurbished stores.
I guess america includes mexico
since they would definately cheap
out on a TV there.
They are just proving they are
the number 1 cheapest crap for
sale.

It might be true that they are the number-one seller. They have provided cheap, decent looking televisions to discount stores and warehouse for years so they are cranked out like Big Macs.

They are able to save money by assembling (not manufacturing) them in the US and avoid import tax's, and they are designed to be un-repairable and Vizio spends no money to service or fix the units. (Sony, Samsung, Panasonic, etc setup service centers and train repair people for their televisions - extra cost)

And CES is a trade-show where booths are setup and reviewers are given swag/booze and treated to a dog-and-pony show and then give their OPINIONS on what is good based on the demos. They are not real reviews. Often the equipment are specially created/hand-crafted for the show and are not in production yet. What the consumer gets at the store a few months later is often different in small or large ways. Vizio may not have had a large booth or even attended.

So DONT put your faith in any trade-show review. Wait for a review that does side-by-side reviews or lets the reviewer have a production unit in the office/home for a week to learn the ins/outs of the unit.
